A bold new venture for US based Saalt. The next logical step. Not content with a range of best selling menstrual cups Saalt have now stepped into the period underwear market with a new product and an unparalleled level of performance.
We worked to create an evolution of the Saalt brand to accommodate this new product line, differentiated at the top level and throughout with a new approach to typography, colour, pattern and imagery.

In less than one year after launching, Saalt has been able to open accounts with five different department stores.

E-commerce sales have outstripped bricks and motar sales through third party vendors like Target and Nordstrom.

The Saalt wear range continues to expand with new products due soon.
Brand
Influenced by the forms of desert dunes (the epitome of dry) we have retained the connection to the natural world with shapes that can be reflected physically as well as graphically, forming the basis of the brand identity.
We also created a monogram, inspired by Saalt Wear but designed to represent the Saalt brand across the board when space is at a premium.

Packaging
As with all Saalt products the environment is always a key consideration. All Saalt Wear pieces are made of post-consumer recycled water bottles to help clean up landfill and ocean-bound plastic. Fabrics are also sourced from factories known for making safe, green textiles.
These are qualities that we have reflected through all packaging items. The dune forms create layers and structure in the mail order packaging, revealing key aspects of the brand story as it's opened.

With Saalt Wear, we wanted to convey to our customers that they can have confidence in the product, and in themselves. The imagery inspired by sand dunes and gorgeous flowing lines accomplishes both and hints that they can also be confident the product will keep them dry.
